C1 Academy was founded by Kevin-Prince Boateng and Roberto Uribe, united by a shared vision to raise the standard of player development in Australia and create genuine pathways for young athletes to reach the professional game.
With more than two decades of experience at the highest levels of European football, Kevin brings world-class insight, professionalism, and an understanding of what it takes to succeed on the global stage. His leadership and mentorship form the heartbeat of C1’s philosophy.
Roberto brings extensive experience in international education, operations, and strategic development. For over 17 years, he has led initiatives that connect people with global opportunities through education and migration. Beyond his professional work, he serves as a founder and board member of a charity supporting education for underprivileged children in Latin America. His background in operations, education, and community building gives C1 the structure, integrity, and long-term vision needed to turn talent into opportunity.
Together, Kevin and Roberto have built more than an academy — they’ve built a culture. C1 Academy unites professional football expertise with educational purpose, blending global standards and local commitment to create an environment where success is earned through discipline, humility, and belief. It is where passion meets purpose, and where the next generation of Australian players are prepared not only to compete, but to belong, on the world stage.
